When new vendor price files are received from vendors, expiration dates can be added to VallenIQ part records using the Update Part and Create New Part features.
To add a new Vendor Cost Expiration date to your line items, populate the date using the following new field in Create & Update tab:
Click into this field, and in the date picker feature, select the month and year, then choose a date.
Fill out the rest of the required fields and select save.
Once saved, open Expand View to see the new Vendor Cost Expiration date you’ve added to your updated or created part:
Vendor Cost Expiration dates will also appear in the “VCE Date” column for updated and new part suggestions in the following tabs:
- Multiple Vallen Matches
- Did You Mean
- Advanced Search & Quick Search (Modified Parts Only)
