Advanced Search is available on the top right of VallenIQ’s navigation bar on any page:
Clicking Advanced Search will open up the Advanced Search tool:
“Part Master” searches will search for items in Vallen’s master part table. The “Modified Parts” option will run your search against previously updated parts.
The Advanced Search tool also gives you the ability to search using one or more categories (Part Number, Description, and MFR/Vendor)
Add to Project
After using the Advanced Search tool and finding your parts, you can click the 'Add to Project' button that will allow you to add that result to one of your recent projects. Additionally, you can click 'Create New Project' with your desired part.
Parts added to a project via the Advanced Search tool will have a usage value of 1 and a Requested Quantity value of 1.
